DATA PROCESSING

The Site ensures the User’s collection and processing of personal information in accordance with privacy laws, particularly Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to information technology, files, and freedoms.

DATA COLLECTION

The website collects user data only when the user submits a message via the site’s contact form. This form requests the user to provide their name and email address so that Smaltis can respond to their inquiry.

These data are collected to establish contact with the person who filled out the online form, offer them a non-binding personalized quote, and follow up after the initial contact, or to address user inquiries. This contact will be established via phone and/or email.

The user’s email address may also be used for sending newsletters related to the services offered by Smaltis and any other information pertaining to Smaltis. Unsubscribing from receiving these newsletters is possible by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link provided in the newsletter.

These data will not be used for other purposes and are transmitted to Smaltis via email.

Each form limits the collection of personal data to the strictly necessary (data minimization), and Smaltis is the sole entity with access to this data through email communication.

USE AND TRANSMISSION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

DURATION OF YOUR DATA STORAGE

The data is retained for as long as the concerned individual maintains a contractual relationship with the Company.

In the event of the termination of the contract binding the individual to the Company, such as the end of the requested service or provision, and if there is no other reason to continue the processing, the information will be retained for periods necessary to comply with regulations and applicable prescription rules, including contractual, accounting, and tax regulations, or, if applicable, to handle any claims or requests related to the provided services.

The personal data of clients is retained for the duration of the contractual relationships plus an additional 3 years for promotional and prospecting purposes, without prejudice to retention obligations or prescription periods. In matters of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, the data is kept for 5 years after the end of relations with the Company. Finally, the data may be retained for 10 years after the termination of the contractual relationship to comply with accounting and tax obligations.
